Craig Wilson first opened Riviera Dance Centre Rockdale 17 years ago along with all the hype of Strictly Ballroom. He has seen the studio grow from strength to strength from being a small school coaching a handful of competitors and medalists to being one of the largest Dancesport schools in Australia and Asia Pacific.

Riviera Dance Centre has 12 resident teachers and regular visiting coaches from the U.K. and Europe. We cover a range of styles from Modern, Latin American, New Vogue, Salsa, Latin Funk, Hip Hop and as from 2002 we have had a resident Classical Ballet teacher.

In 2004, Craig has joined forces in business with his wife Kate Larter (former artist of the Royal Ballet of London) to build a purpose built multi-style dance facility - Riviera's new home. The facility is air-conditioned, has 2 levels of "Air Thrust" sprung dance floors, change rooms, lounge area, kitchen facility for customers, ample on-site car-parking, and automatic security gates on entering the complex. Riviera's new home is a 5 star facility for all dance enthusiasts.
